Rules on People Photography are supposed to guide us to better images. Here then is my compendium from many hours listening to regional judges and Assessors; screening of the best online and academic resources; and some mining of photographic media. I have tried to illustrate each one: sometimes using the Rule; sometimes abusing the Rule for variety. 
 
Each of the 60 Rules are illustrated with one of my own images including commentary of when they best work, condensed into a useful 4.4M PDF file.
