As a Documentary photographer, car boot sales tell us something about the merchandise, buyers and sellers that make the world go around. They are a portal through which to view a small slice of our economy. They are an explosion of colours. They are a melting pot of diverse cultures and bohemian people criss-crossing the same field. In my eBook, DEATH OF THE HIGH STREET, I charted its reduced foot-fall. I now know where some of them went.
